INSTRUCTORS
Larry Goudy is owner/operator of a marina on Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri since 1973. He currently mangages a company of 10 full time employees. Mr. Goudy maintains a master tech rating on Johnson/Evinrude outboards since 1989. He is also currently an instructor for Marine Industry Certification (MIC), as well as instructs courses for the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) on Electrical and Basic Engine Systems. Mr. Goudy's also has extensive education experience while teaching marine technology at a local community college. Mr. Goudy is a former AMTECH Board of Director member, and he is active on is a member of the Marine Industry Technical Education Council (MITEC).

Joe De Marco is the president of AMTECH and the management director for National Marine ServiceEXPO. Joe is co-founder and co-owner of Rapair, Inc., and CDI Electronics, a manufacturer of after-market marine outboard electronic ignitions. Originally from New York, he has over 25 years experience in sales and marketing. Prior to starting Rapair, Joe was vice president of sales and marketing for a company in the electronics industry. Since entering the marine industry in 1982, he has worked closely with marine service technicians and dealers. Service has always been the key emphasis for Rapair's remanufactured electronic ignitions, along with the company's new product division, CDI Electronics, and computer division, RCS Computer Systems. As the founder of the National Marine ServiceEXPO program, Joe is committed to helping the marine industry through cooperation and education. Mr. De Marco also serves as Vice Chair of is a member of the Marine Industry Technical Education Council (MITEC).

The correspondence course is intended to help marine personnel understand proper management procedures, and how they are put to use in a marine business who can't travel for training. The course material has been taken from the same all-day 8 and 16 hour workshops that is taught at the National Marine Service Expo and in the field.
