The American Boat Builders & Repairers Association will host its inaugural Summer Symposium networking and social event Aug. 3-4 at the OceanCliff Hotel in Newport, R.I.

Open to ABBRA members and non-members, the event is geared toward boatyards, boatbuilding and repair businesses, and affiliated marine-industry partners. It will feature panel seminars from industry leaders, attendee-led roundtable discussions on current issues, and a keynote presentation. There will also be a field trip to two area boatyards to witness regional best practices firsthand.
