This workshop will cover the repair and rebuild procedures specifically for the Alpha Gen. 2 Sterndrive. Complete drive disassembly, measurement, analysis, shimming, and rebuilding will be performed.

Instructor:

Chris Steen began his career in the recreational field in 1989 as a snowmobile and motorcycle technician. He began his career in the marine industry in 1993 when he graduated from North Dakota State College of Science with a diploma in Marine and Motorcycle technology. Chris obtained his AAS from NDSCS in 1994. He won the 1993 National Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, Marine Mechanics Contest. Chris went on to attend the Amercian Marine Institute in Daytona Beach, Florida and received a certificate in marine Engine Technology in 1994.

Chris started working as a marine technician in 1993 and worked his way through a variety of positions in the industry. In 1998 he became a marine instructor at Minnesota State Community and Technical College-Detroit Lakes, MN. Chris also conducts field training for boat manufacturer employees.
