AMTECH Course outline: Electrical Systems; Troubleshooting and Theory
Course Profile: (16 Hour course) This 2-day seminar addresses one of the most important and very often overlooked segments of marine troubleshooting; properly understanding the principals of electricity and how it interfaces in marine applications. Although most marine technicians think they know a great deal about electricity, in reality many have not received the correct electrical background from "On the Job Training". Now there is a course that will prepare the proper foundation.

Instructors:
Conrad Kreuter is a certified ABYC Electrical instructor and Adjunct Professor at Kingsborough Community College in N.Y. Conrad is also owner of Moriches Boat & Motor in E. Moriches, NY, which is an authorized sales and service dealer for Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Mercury, Mercruiser, Key West and McKee Craft boats. Mr. Kreuter was awarded Suzuki’s highest service award for 2002-2003. Conrad is an active member of is a member of the Marine Industry Technical Education Council (MITEC).
Sean Hill is EFI Engineer for CDI Electronics. Sean has over 15 years experience in electronics. A high-performance junkie, his responsibilites include dyno and on-the-water testing of the current generation of high performance outboard motors. Sean has been instrumental in developing CDI Electronic' new line of QuickStrike PRO SERIES performance ignition products. His experience in marine electronics brings a real-life approach to this technical training workshop. |
