Instructor: Thomas "TJ" James is the Engineering Sales Manager and a member of the Technical Support Staff for CDI Electronics. He is also certified MIC (Marine Industry Certification) Specialty: Technical. TJ has over 20 years experience in the manufacturing of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies. Along with his background in transformer technology, he assisted in the development of reliable stator products for the outboard motor industry, and he was responsible for bringing a new generation of these products into the marine industry. This development, in stator design, has led to new industry standards with the introduction of CDI Electronics’ advanced line of Quick Strike Ignition products. TJ brings a no-nonsense approach to troubleshooting the outboard electronic ignition system. |
